Axial thread rolling system
These devices move axially on the workpiece to form the thread. The length of the workpiece to be rolled is not limited by the tool. At the end of the thread, the system opens automatically with a programmed stop. The rolling system returns to its initial position in rapid traverse. To continue with the next workpiece, the tool is closed manually or by means of a locking device.
- Type A: for stationary use
- Type AG: for stationary and rotating use
- Type AL: for fixed use left-hand threads
- Type AGL: for fixed and rotating use left-hand threads
Axial Feed
The spindle feed is axial in the direction of the arrows.
If the spindle is stationary, the workpiece is rotating.
If the spindle rotates, the workpiece is fixed.
